Being a music lover – I was pretty chuffed when asked to do a promo poster for a local Brisbane band, “Falling for Sky”. And then they then dropped two words that would make any artist drool – Creative Freedom.
They boys we’re brave enough to let my creative juice flow, and come up with a piece that I thought summed them up their punk/rock style of music. It didn’t take long before my mind drifted towards the obvious – Zombies.
So this is the final piece. Personally, I’m really stoked with the outcome. I used a different colouring style to normal, as you can probably see, opting for textures and several built up layers to achieve the dirty, gritty feel the piece deserved.
All the guys we’re really happy with the final piece – well except for Jamie who was unfortunate enough to be picked as the disembowelled one.
