Sean first saw my artwork hanging up at a friends place. He loved my style and was keen to get a large A1 poster for his own bedroom. It’s always an honour when someone likes your work so much that they want a piece which is nearly a metre long to plaster their wall with!
Coming from a religious background, Sean knew exactly what he wanted for his piece, a scene portraying the Resurrection of Jesus. I first began shaking with fear at the thought of Angel wings, but in the end we worked quite closely and achieved something that we are both proud of.
I worked with only a few textures with this one, trying to keep the Angel as the focal point of the picture. A few small gradients and clean shading helped to give this picture its “simplistic-and-clean” feeling.
